Anley Lafleur: "I cannot wait to start using your exciting product and I am sure it will help me achieve my objectives".
Olivier Auverlot: "At my work (a universitary computer research laboratory), I'm alone to create all applications and databases. I don't know how I could do all the work without it. It's really a very productive software. I can focus on the database schemas and create quickly the user applications with a minimal amount of code to maintain".

OnAddEnvironmentVariables

This event allows you to add environment variables for your application. You can access the values of these variables in any server-side event of any page via GetEnvVar() method of the Page class, and also use them in lookup filter criteria, on data filtering, and as a default values.

Signature:

function OnAddEnvironmentVariables ($page, &$variables)

Parameters:

$page

An instance of the Page class declared in components/page.php.

$variables

An associative array of environment variables. Use it to add your own variables.

Example 1:

The following code defines a new variable, which can be used in lookup filter criteria, on data filtering, as a default value.

$variables['DATE_TWO_MONTHS_AFTER_NOW'] = date('Y-m-d', strtotime('+2 months'));
