PostgreSQL Data Wizard: Product Tour

PostgreSQL Data Wizard provides you with an ability to schedule tasks with templates loaded for being executed after you exit the application. Task Scheduler used for this purpose is available through the corresponding button of toolbar or by way of the according link on Start Page. The scheduler gives you opportunities to create scheduled tasks for executing ASP.NET and PHP scripts generation, data pump, data export or data import in background mode at specified time (it is not obligatory to launch PostgreSQL Data Wizard in this case).

You can add a scheduled task by using the corresponding items of the navigation bar or the popup menu within the Common | Task Scheduler panel.

You can run the configured task any time irrespective of the scheduled task time. To do so, select the task and then use the Execute item of the navigation bar or that of the popup menu.

The task list allows you to enable/disable the selected tasks. It may be useful to cease executing a task at specified time without deleting it.

The Scheduled Task Editor dialog allows you to configure your task according to your needs.

Using the editor you can set the task properties (scheduled tool, the path to the template and to the log file for the task), configure the execution time (start date, execution interval) and cease executing of the task, if necessary.
