Setting source and target databases

This step is provided for building the source database connection string and setting the target database properties.

Use the Source connection properties box to set the ADO connection string. To create it click the Ellipsis(...) button and specify the connection properties within the Data Link Properties dialog.

Define the connection properties such as host name, port number, user name and password for the Oracle server in the Target Connection Properties respective boxes. Select the database from the drop-down list or type the database name manually. If no database with the specified name exists, check the Create new database option, and check the Drop database if exists option to re-create the existing database.
