Performing task operations


MySQL Service Center provides you two ways to perform operations with the tasks: using main toolbar or using task list's popup menu. Both of them has identical abilities and provides you with the following task operations:
  • Add new task


Invokes the Add Task Wizard for adding a new task to the task list.
  • Copy task
    Makes a copy of an existing task and adds it to the task list.

  • Edit task
    Invokes the Edit Task dialog containing the common task options.

  • Edit connection properties
    Allows you to define the connection properties such as host name and user name.

  • Delete task
    Deletes currently selected task from the task list.

  • Run task
    Executes a task currently selected in the task list.

  • Schedule task
    Allows you to specify the options for executing a task by schedule.

  • Enable or disable task or group of tasks
    Allows you to enable or disable task execution by schedule.

  • Rename task
    Changes the name of currently selected task.
