Adding scheduled tasks

Scheduled tasks are managed in Data Wizard for MySQL Task Scheduler. Select the Common | Task Scheduler item to view the Task Scheduler window.

In order to add a scheduled task either

use the Add Scheduled Task item of the task list

or

select the Add Task popup menu item of the task list (alternatively, you can use the corresponding item of the navigation bar).

Note: You are to use the appropriate wizards for creating templates for scheduled tasks (See ASP.NET Generator Templates, PHP Generator Templates, Data Pump Templates, Data Export Templates and Data Import Templates for more information).

Within the dialog you can set the task to be executed minutely, hourly, daily, weekly or monthly according to the Each box and drop-down list values. To cease the task executing at a specified date or after a certain number of the process repetitions use the Until and the For drop-down lists.

You can also create a system scheduled task or convert a task created in Data wizard to system one. Such tasks can be executed by the Windows scheduler service even without user logon.
