Field options

This tab allows you to specify the caption of the field as it will be represented in the generated script.

 

Edit options let you with minimal efforts make you database data editable by your customers. You can also make accessible to delete the field data and make the field empty.

 

Lookup options

MS SQL Data Wizard supports foreign key constraints and the automatic creation of look up menus. For more information see the corresponding section.

 

Hyperlink

Since last version MS SQL Data Wizard allows you to create really interactive web-pages with hyperlinks. Just enable Display as hyperlink and set several hyperlink options. First of all specify HREF field - a field containing the appropriate link data. Now you have to define Prefix and Suffix of the hyperlinks.

The result links will be constructed in the following way: Prefix + contents of HREF field + Suffix.

Leave the Target field blank if you wish the URL to open in the current browser window. If you wish the URL to open in another browser window enter the correct standard HTML window name.

 

Use the Display as image checkbox in order to BLOB data will be represented as images.
