Setting field name and type

Use the according box to set the field name and to define the field data type by selecting it from the drop-down list.

Note: the name of the object must be unique among all the object names in the table. You can use any identifier that is allowed by MaxDB server.

To set the default value for the field use the Default value box. This value is always inserted to the table in this field when the field value is not specified in the insert query.

The Comment box allows you to set optional text describing the field.
