Installation
To install MaxDB Data Wizard for the first time on your PC:
| • | download the MaxDB Data Wizard distribution package from the download page at our site; |
| • | unzip downloaded file to any local folder, e.g. c:\unzipped; |
| • | run setup.exe from the local folder and follow the instructions of installation wizard; |
| • | the MaxDB Data Wizard shortcut will appear at the corresponding group of the Windows start menu after the installation completion; |
| • | run MaxDB Data Wizard using its shortcut. |
To upgrade installed copy of MaxDB Data Wizard to the latest version:
| • | download the MaxDB Data Wizard executable file from the download page at our site; |
| • | unzip downloaded file to any local folder, e.g. c:\unzipped; |
| • | exit from MaxDB Data Wizard if it is running; |
| • | replace previous version of MaxDB Data Wizard by copying unzipped files to the MaxDB Data Wizard folder; |
| • | run MaxDB Data Wizard using its shortcut at the Windows start menu. |
You also can use the full distribution package to upgrade your current version of MaxDB Data Wizard. In this case, you should repeat the steps you made for the first-time installation.
Note: The full distribution package is larger than a single executable file.
